About Alsa

Alsa prides himself on using comedy to create space for honest dialogue. He is also a distant cast member of the Minnesota-based “Theater of Public Policy”, an ex-writer for news comedy “Minnesota Tonight”, half of the sketch comedy duo “Serendipity”, an experienced actor, a long-time improv teacher/ coach, and co-founder of the Black and Funny Improv Festival. He is now a full time artist, improvising with Bi-Jingo (an international theater-based consultancy where he is a behavioral coach), performing/ directing/ teaching with Killing My Lobster (the Bay Area’s premier sketch comedy company), and mentoring with the Success Center (where he teaches a playwriting curriculum to youth in the penal system).
